I honestly think this is legit.

Companies have small press gatherings like this before E3 all the time. It gives journalists time to become acquainted with the games and to write their impressions, because obviously there isn't enough time during the actual week of E3.

I just think it's funny that people are saying how it's 'fake' pre-E3. If this came out afterwards, well of course it would be an no-brainer. But, instead you get quotes, even on Neogaf saying:

'Poorly acted'? I could've said the same thing about Mr. Caffine from last E3 :p They might've just used a classroom or something to do it in *shrugs*. Does it HAVE to be all coporate looking or something or have a panel-like setting to be more 'official'? What pisses me off the most is everyone saying "it IS fake" and not "I THINK it's fake"... I HOPE THEY ALL EAT THEIR HATS IF IT GETS ANNOUNCED NEXT WEEK!!!

No, most people just have a mind-set of "Close to E3? It's fake" or "I don't want to get my hopes up, so I won't be optimistic about anything." or NeoGAF and Gbatemp's reasoning... "It's fake, because the world wants it to be."

There are people still trying to debunk the KH Remembrance rumour, despite the fact Nomura has hinted at a project like that, the end of DDD hints at a project like that, and he has stated he'd make a major announcement soon.

It's just fans trying to keep themselves in check so they aren't disappointed.
Kind of why I only stick to NISA, since everyone here; except stealth, seems to be more optimistic about things like this.

At least... more optimistic than other communities. =3=

I don't know where those guys get their impressions of video game press conferences.

Sure there's NDAs and they usually don't let you film, but press conferences are mostly a pretty casual affair, just like in that video. Joking, clapping and applause are pretty standard. After all, the journalists are typically also fans, so the company hosting the press conference wants them to have an enjoyable time so that they are excited about the game and write favorably about it.

Also Stealth, it's not a rumour, it's a bloody freaking video. A video that has a LOT that can and does back up it's validity. If it were a rumor alone, I'd discredit it. But it's not, it's a video.

You also seem to not realize, the footage is Japanese with English subtitles, meaning this is likely showing; what some have known for years, how Japanese developers show the Japanese press 'pre-E3' showings of their announcements.

That way, the Japanese have a chance to get their articles ready.
Minutes after Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded was revealed at E3 two years ago, Japanese sites across the web had articles on it, as if they had already been typed up.

No one is going to have a six pages article typed up 3 minutes after something is officially revealed. They'd have to have been informed before hand.

Kingdom Hearts: Remembrance, falls in line with Dream Drop Distance's secret message, it would be an HD remaster of Kingdom Hearts 1, 2, CoM, Days, and BbS. Days would be fully remade using one of the other game's engines, while all the games would have content that expand on the series loose ends and tie things up nicely. (Also known as Final Mix *cough*)

Past, reawakened, series is about waking up memories, people, and connecting memories. Nomura never goes with plain titles, so Kingdom Hearts: HD Remix is out of the question.

Remembrance would fit well with all the "ReConnect: Kingdom Hearts trailers that have been popping up at the end of each game since BbS' release.

Nomura also expressed in DDD's ultimania how he dreams of remaking days, updating the graphics, and giving it analog control. Further continuing with how he would like to do something to bring the series back to consoles, since he has realized how too spread apart it is.

The guy who leaked it, Geno, is also the one who leaked Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2, and from my understanding, this guy has never been wrong with any of his leaks. =3=

How good is Days? I hear good things about BBS, but never hear anything about Days heh, though I'll take that question to the KH thread I guess

At least, not the entire KH rumor anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if they remastered one KH game at a time starting with the first one, but I highly doubt they'd put all the games in one collection. I think at best we might get 1&2 in a single collection. I doubt they'd even bother with CoM because that's already been remade once. And Nomura is probably too busy to completely remake Days right now.

It's not Nomura who'd be working on it, just the Osaka team.

They've made all KH titles since BbS, and a Days remake would be an easy undertaking, since everything-- other than Xion's models. Has a PS2 asset, meaning they can just reuse things, up the textures a bit, and polish it a bit.

And it's only believable because of the things Nomura has said, it's the ideal compilation that he had in mind. Does that mean it's real? I know for a fact it could easily be fake, but there is so much he has said that could prove it to be true... I won't discredit it just yet.

So upon reading what I missed of the thread while I was at work, I see this rumor could still be real or fake. Guess I didn't miss much.

Also that Kingdom Hearts Collection would be quite nice if it's real, since I only own 1 and 2 currently.

Talking about the "fake" video with FFvXIII getting renamed FFXV, which should release to WII U and PS3, but not 360?
