This game announced at the same time with FFXIII and Agito (which is Type-0 now). FFXIII has been released to the point that FFXIII-2 has announced its released date. Type-0 is going to release any time soon too. If this is a bad habit, this should be the worst one.

Oh, yeah. 2-3 Years is standard for consoles. But what was it... Dissdia, Duodecim and The 3rd Birthday? took 3 years for nothing.

I find that stupid. It's like "Troloolooolol we are working on this super duper awesome game, but we are not releasing it in the next 3 years. Have fun waiting for it ; )"

And they end up disappointing. At least Duodecim and The 3rd Birthday did for me as so much expectation built up for it... They did the right thing with XIII-2 announcing it almost a year before its release.

Dissidia 012: Duodecim was actually announced on September 2010 and the game was released on March 2011. I'd call that pretty much perfect announcement.
