And that's probably it right there...they can sell the game for higher prices there, meaning they make up for the lower sale amount...or something like that

Well, at least they're offering it. Pretty sure they never will again after this, even though plenty of games are getting by with just as big if not bigger LE's for much cheaper. Except in Japan of course.

Yeah, even I'm on the fence about it. (The LE anyways, not the game. The game is 100% buy.)

Yup, the game is 100% buy...does anybody know if that book is 100% required to catch those special monsters in game or not? Because that'd be messed up if it was

They said during one of their videos about it, that they included the book digitally in-game for the Western release.

Ahh, I didn't watch the video, and just skimmed since I was sidetracked at the time, good to know

Now if the special monster DLC is somehow a regular pre-order bonus, all's good...though a 300 page artbook/wannabe strategy guide would be nice...

$100 is too much for you guys? I'm surprised they're not charging more. Collector's editions this big usually cost $150. Besides, that book is sooooooo freaking worth it.

Seriously, 300+ pages, details on all monsters, all items, all spells, and in full color?
