PS2 FFXI graphics and framerate wasn't up to PC standards, but it was still very playable and fun. :D I'm sure the PS3 FFXIV ARR version will be very playable and fun too. It could be a while before PS4 version releases, so playing on PS3 in the meantime is better than a below average PC. :D

I don't know...I dislike monthly fees. I already made the mistake of paying subscription fees for FF11, and for buying FF14 several years ago.

I might be able to justify it, depending on the price of course. From what I read, all previous owners of FF14 will be able to get into the new version for free? I will post the link to the info if I can find it. :D

Those people who paid at least 90 consecutive days during an extended period were awarded the Legacy status.

Legacy members are awarded with a discount price of $9.99/month
Basic monthly fee is $12.99 for non-legacy.
Standard monthly fee is $14.99 for non-legacy.

:D and there's the free to play beta phase 3, free to play open beta phase 4 (which could save data for launch), and free month trial after launch. ^-^

The month trial being the only one you should actually play for. The beta should be used for testing >.>

Finally decided what class/race combo I'll pick for launch though

Huh. I don't remember Goblins being confirmed for FFXIV, but I admit to not really paying much attention.

Still highly adorable. I hope they still awkwardly toss bombs.
I never got my avatars.
Still holding my breath for the other Marl Kingdom games.

They're kobolds, they were revealed as minions of Titan.

No, no. Those are very different creatures.

Goblins don't have two-toned ears, have a longer face, and very differently shaped hands and feet. (And I'm going to assume no whiskers.)
I never got my avatars.
Still holding my breath for the other Marl Kingdom games.
