I believe you're thinking of the SNES version. Pretty much every version of Jurassic Park was different, and I have to give the Genesis one a lot of credit; it was a rather good platformer back in the day. And it's likely you'll never forget the first time the T-Rex shows up, complete with the legendary stomping effect (well, as close as the Genesis could pull it off, anyway).

Perhaps I am. The two Jurassic Park games I played were abysmal. I remember that much.

The only good Jurassic Park game that I've played was on the Psone. The T-rex level was boss.

The hell does that mean? The sampling abilities on the Genesis' Yamaha sound chip was one of it's strong points against the "meh" SNES Sony SPC700.

Though, for a 16-bit system, I guess that's as good as it gets

It means that in the 16-bit era, you'd take what you could get, 'cause the sounds were never exactly right.

Glad to see we're on the same page

Although, the laughing in the "fight with magus" in Chrono Trigger sounds like the real thing, even though it's not even a sample of a voice, but simply sound effects made to sound like one. I still don't get that one.

srsly?! not even close to the response I expected, still can't tell if your being sarcastic...
but again it was a guilty pleasure, not the first game I would bring out when other people were around. I love ninja game though.

My first picks are random I guess it's not necessarily a bad thing but I can say if these games weren't my first pick then I might not have ever picked them up.

Nah, nah, I wasn't. It was great fun actually ~ :3 Weird, though. The best solo games for PS2 were Kingdom Hearts, Soul Nomad, and Okami for me, but Eye Toy was definitely the greatest party game I ever had on PS2 (meaning I only found it enjoyable with multiple people).
However, haven't played it in ages; can't remember exactly what games were on it. DDR and Just Dance 2 for the Kinect seem to be the best now ~ 8-)

I had friends who liked BeyBlade, and my sister enjoyed playing it as well ~
My friends hated it most the time though, since they never could get a feel for what was going on. xD

Same here, tried playing a few months ago still didn't understand the mechanics. I didn't back then and I nvr will :D

The only Jp I enjoy (and need to go back to beat one day...) Is the arcade shooter The Lost World. It's a great co-op game! Got so close to beating it, bit ran out of tokens...

oh oh oh!!!

Nintendo - mario 1

SNES - mario world

PS2 - Xenosaga

360 - Blue Dragon

PS3 - Disgaea 3

Game Gear - a mahjong game.. it wasn't in english lol

NDS - Lunar Dragon Song (AWFUL GAME)

PSP - Lumines...

I'm not even going to try and remember what my first pc game i played was. I think my brain would fry. A couple of interesting things i find though, i never owned a gameboy or a gameboy advance and i never owned a PSX either though i did buy PSX games because i bought Bleem! (psx emu). Truth be told, i miss the SNES days, the RPGS there was so fun, now i find most games to be not as fun now :(

Genesis - Not sure (Sonic 2 Came with the system).

I had another game then too, but I dunno what it was.

SNES - A Link to the Past (Super Mario World came with the system).

I think I got Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (French Version, without realizing it ~_~).

I beat Super Mario World so many times >_> I got Megaman X and played that loads of times too (possibly more than Mario).

GBC - Pokemon Yellow

First Pokemon game....I also managed to get Surfing Pickachu on it XD

N64 - Not a friggen clue...Probably either Mario 64 or something.

I just re-purchased one for Nostalgia's sake XD Got Goldeneye, Shadows of the Empire (Star wars game, awesome stuff), and it also came with Diddy Kong Racing. Donkey Kong Country 64 was a great game. To say nothing of LoZ: Ocarina of Time and Majora's mask.

PS1 - Again, not a clue...

I've gotten a number of games for it, but the earliest ones I recall are a Monster Rancher game, Final Fantasy VIII and

GBA - I think a Pokemon Game

I got the GBA Platinum edition, sold it to my bro for $20 a while after the Micro came out (Didn't buy that mind, just for timeline purposes)...Regretted it as he smashed the thing on his head and busted the LCD...

PS2 - Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy

^Graphics Really WOWed me at the time. I'll probably get the collection on the PS3 at some point. FFX was another early one I got, gorgeous it was (still has aged pretty well actually).

PSP - Untold Legends - Brotherhood of the Blade

I think it was that. Pretty good game IMO. I also got the Dynasty Warriors game around the same time, also good.

360 - TES IV: Oblivion

Though it came with Ghost Recon I didn't care, Oblivion wowed me and it made me purchase a 360.

PS3 - Spiderman III

Yeah, a bit disappointing. Still a fun game, but a letdown from Spiderman II. System came with F1: Championship Edition but I really disliked that game and traded it in for a fair amount of credit.

DS - Pokemon Diamond or Elite Beat Agents

Yeah, again I'm not sure. Pokemon games are often reasons for me to get Nintendo consoles though.

PC - Probably Crysis?

I built a computer that was able to play Crysis, so yeah...First Steam game was probably the Unreal Deal (For UT GOTY and UT3 namely).

3DS - 3 Games (MK7, Starfox 3D, ?????)

Ocarina of Time 3D came with my LoZ themed 3DS. First games I purchased with it though were Mario Kart 7, Starfox 3D, and uhhhh....Well fudge, I dunno >_>

PSV - Super Stardust Delta

Little Deviants came with it, but I bought Delta shortly after. Still haven't played Deviants.

Every system prior to the NES... I really don't remember.
NES: Contra and Super Mario Brothers (got both)
Sega Genesis: Altered Beast (Came with it) and Golden Axe (got it since Altered beast didn't look like it was much fun)
SNES: Super Mario World and Final Fantasy 2 (4, but.. it was called 2 back then).
GameBoy (original): Came with Tetris...but I forget what game I originally got with it.
GBA: Advance Wars 2 + Final Fantasy 1+2
GBDS: Advance wars 4 (it's not called 4, I forget the name though)
PSX: Final Fantasy 7 (was let down though) + Gran Tourismo 2.
PS2: I forget, Onimusha? Think I bought R-type Final with it too.
PS3: Ninja Gaiden Sigma + Disgaea 3
Ecksbawks360: I bought Mushihimesama-futari and DeathSmiles before I got the system, and then I got Forza Motorsport 3 with the system.

I don't have a PSP yet, but I plan to soon with Monster hunter something (dunno which one yet) and Valkyria Chronicles 2.
