English voices are in! Wooohooo! Yes! Hope it's good and covers the important scenes at least.

I'm uber hyped again.

:D :D :D

Enjoy your 25% dub.

"Oh, that sucks," you say, "I'll just listen to the japanese then."

Yeah, about that...

Honestly this is what gets me the most. If they at least did an proper dubbing job like with the Tales or Persona games i could life with it.
Now it just feels like a half assed product.

I will save a lot of money :D

Yep. On the bright side I can just get another game or spent the money on booze. Everybody wins. TK can keep their game and I can do whatever.

With Tales of Xillia, Atelier Ayesha... we will be really drunk xD
What happened with Xillia?

No japanese dub.

But.... Tales of- games have never had dual audio....

Yeah they said they'd look into it, but they've never had dual audio.

I should jailbreak the PS3 so I can play undubs. I saw the Graces F undub, it was great (I turned off the graces F voices...)

Edit: Can I have a link to where they state they decided not to do it?

Just heard about no JP track... guess I'll be importing sometime down the line. I was rather excited about the JP voice cast; not having the option to switch might make this a dealbreaker for me :/

Unless something interesting comes out near this, I'll probably still get it.

@Beedle - Probably due to the lack of choice, which is now starting to get to me too :/

That would blame NISA, since they are the ones localizing it...I'm pretty sure that the publisher has control over the budget sadly

This would be precisely it, they don't have control over anything other than doing actual localisation itself, everything else is likely out of their hands.

That I hadn't heard about it until now, or that I wouldn't buy the localized version? :X Not sure what impressions you have of me, but I advocate 100% voting with your wallet~ So I will cast my vote for the original version of the game and forgo the localized version.

Oh, silly LAMV!

I already own the Japanese game (since last summer). Got one ending too. I'll play that again after I beat the NA game over and over again.

Totori's "partial dub" was perfect. Just enough. Unless Ayesha's "partial dub" is on Ar tonelico 2's territory where major scenes went unvoiced, I'll be happy.

Of course, I gotta hear the english VA work to be sure it's fine, but I'm hyped. English voices are a go! Yaaaaaay! Woohoo!

:D
