That really isn't true about other ecchi anime having the same thing. Senran Kagura franchise has characters that really stand out with story written by a great writer and also their origins from videogame makes their universe even more interactive than other "ecchi" anime.

Compared to Senran Kagura, other animes of the same theme/type are generic in comparison.

And when Senran Kagura gets its own anime, it will get even more popularity!! (well depending on the people writing up the anime episodes and stuff, but still could be more entertaining than other anime of its kind.)

You obviously do not get it. It's far more than just 'tits'. Yours is an incredibly shallow, short-sighted way of looking at the great depth Alura's feelings have. It's not just a two-dimensional lust for anime girls beating eachother as their breasts bounce all around the screen and they lose clothing; it's a three-dimensional one. Something worth hundreds of dollars, and much safer than asking a girl out and witnessing worse results, even if he succeeds.

Feel free to praise Senran Kagura all you want, but I disagree with your comment about animes with the same theme being 'generic in comparison'.

The gameplay looks fun, but it's a JP-only game. JP 3DS's are expensive -_-

But, if I got a 3DS it would be a JP one.

I'm not saying people should buy 3DS for it. I sure wouldn't buy a 3DS for it (no import either)

but I would buy it if it was for PS3.



to some it's worth buying a platform for something specific sometimes, and that's okay if they feel their money is well invested.

well at least the Senran Kagura anime won't require buying a new platform to at least watch it. plus people can sub the anime version's story easier than uploading walkthrough videos.

Honestly, I'd like this A LOT more if there wasn't all this crazy emphasis on Oppai. I'm sure that's not as true for Alura, but that's the way I see things. I'm fine with ecchi, but I do like it more when an anime/game pulls the same sort of stuff, but without all the blatant ecchi. Again though, I don't mind ecchi.

Honestly I didn't notice that was what they were doing. I tend to stay away from Ecchi anyway. As far as Queen's Blade you tend to ignore after a while. And HDN isn't innocent in that department either >.>

From what I remember this was made by the guy who created Ikki tousen, which I will never watch. I don't see why female characters have to be so sexualized >.>

I thought it was obvious. Besides I'd be a hypocrite if I was implying what you thought I was implying since I watch ecchi anime all the time. By the way Ikki Tousen sucks. Freezing is way better.
