Can the game get a T rating instead of an M rating?

Can the game get a T rating instead of an M rating?

Postby Spaceshotx7 » Sun Nov 10, 2013 6:26 am

Can the Game Demon Gaze be T rated instead of M rated, so there won't have to be age gates on websites, and age verifications?

The ESRB is too strict on Nudity and stuff compared to Japan and Europe. It should be ok for teens to view partial nudity.

Why do you even have to be 17-18 to view nudity in this country instead of 14-15 like it is in Japan and Europe?

How about we not ask for the game to get a lower rating? I'm perfectly fine with an M.

Just so there aren't age gates (which are the least effective method of preventing access to restricted content ever, incidentally) seems like a silyl reason to hope for a lower rating.
Anyway, NISA aren't in charge of what rating it gets, that's the purpose of the ESRB.
Also the comparisons you mentioned don't quite apply as those regions have a 14/15/16+ rating, whereas the ESRB's closest are 13+ and 17+.

After Valhalla Knights 3 and Senran Kagura Burst getting T ratings, I'm sure this might escape from M rating.

Its too bad the ESRB doesn't have a T15+ rating for 15+

Yeah, we don't have any control over what rating the game gets. We're not planning on cutting any content regardless, but based on what we've seen so far, I'd be surprised if this didn't get a T anyway.
