For anyone like me, who had already chosen Priority mail, you should e-mail customer service and ask for a credit/purchase voucher for the amount. I asked about that on the weekend, and they took the shipping charge off before it shipped (last night).

NISA's customer service, in my experience, has always been pretty good. I will say they should have made adjustments to customers who already had Priority shipping immediately, not in piecemeal responses to the people who inquire. Giving some customers free Priority while leaving others to pay is not an optimal PR solution. While the weather situation is just unfortunate timing, and I believe some of the anger is unjustified, NISA did a pretty poor job of keeping customers in the loop. This goes doubly so because they have so many easy outlets to post an update to; message boards, website, facebook, twitter, etc. There's really no excuse in having that much company social media and going dark on an issue many fans obviously have questions about.

It's unfortunate the delay weather coincided with a big-seller for NISA. While a lot of the negative opinions aren't really fair, it was a bad time to drop the ball. Weather delays and catching up on shipping from a small warehouse aren't anybodies 'fault', but there could have been a simple post here or there to address concerns.

nope didn't make it right and unless that changes, means I shit talk them and encourage used game sales to make sure the publisher sees no money among other things.

I don't have a problem with anybody here I hope you guys have a good time with the game when you finally get it.

I'm very sorry you feel that way, particularly since the company has been trying (not always succeeding, but trying) to help their customers as much as they can. They didn't have to upgrade anybody's shipping. They could have just said "Sorry, everyone, the shipment was delayed by weather, so it'll be a few more days". But they know we wanted to play the game, so they gave faster shipping to a lot of those that would otherwise have had the slowest option in order to try and get it to them within about the same timeframe as they would have otherwise had. Basically, it seems like they took a bit of a financial hit for the sake of helping their customers, and I feel a little sad than some people seem outright upset about this.

Good day.

Rednal, as I wrote above, I think the vast majority of anger at the delay is unfounded. I also agree that NISA didn't 'have' to offer a shipping concession. I don't think having to wait a few days past the original ship date, especially from a very small publisher, is a big deal. But....if a company takes the route of offering concessions to show good-will after a delay, it can't aid some customers and do nothing for others. That's compounding a problem. You could argue people willing to pay for Priority (at $10, which is pricey for what's going out) from the get-go were making a statement that they'll pay more to support NISA and get the product faster. Comping *only* folks who took the freebie kind of thumbs one's nose at that audience. I know I wasn't pleased. I wouldn't expect folks who took Overnight to get comped, and I wouldn't expect Priority customers to be bumped up a level. But if you change your bottom shipping option to Priority and take off the charge, everybody already at that level should get it free.

As I said above, anybody in that boat should contact customer service. NISA's service has always been good in my experience, and they took off my charge without a problem. I don't have any bad feelings about this release, and it's the only time I recall NISA having an issue like this. But that doesn't change that comping some customers while not others is not a great PR move.

Good day.

Given that priority mail still means it might not get to some people until next Friday... I think it's a little fair for people to be upset. I chose free shipping initially because it's all I could get, so I guess I can't REALLY complain as much as those who paid for shipping, but it's still disappointing all the same.

I mean, some people will probably have beaten it before these preorders get to where they're going.

USPS ships on weekends, and are usually REALLY fast. I got mine in two days

Hmm.. I haven't received my confirmation about the shipping yet, status says "pending approval" so I have no idea where I'm at.
Also, since I'm not in America, there is no free shipping option for me, I was stuck with 17 dollar shipping, and I don't suppose ( or know, at least ) if that got upgraded to a better variety of shipping either.
