Looks like the game has all the trademark Ar Tonelico goodness we've come to expect. The reviewer commented particularly on the strength of the story, characters, and of course the music.

That is why it's better to play this game in hard mode. The normal mode is easy and not worth it if you're a gamer who loves challenge

Hopefully NIS america will pick up this game. After the last rebellion disaster, having aletier rorona and this coming out would boost overseas sales.

That averages out to about 8.8, which is pretty awesome. The game got low scores in the categories I expected. I personally don't know if I would give the visuals an eight. Some of the character models don't look as good as the others.

I honestly think nisa will bring this over, if anything just to complete the trilogy. I mean they brought over last rebellion which was pretty horrible.... this is actually good.

I just imported this game and I must say I'm already impressed at the very beginning. The gameplay is solid, the music is the standard high quality I've come to expect from the AT series, and the graphics are superb for being a PS3 title. I don't expect super realistic from the series, but it's a much higher quality anime style than on the PS2.

I truly hope this gets translated as I'll buy the special box edition right away like I always do!

If it comes with a CD and the CD comes with it at GameStop, I'll be sure to pre-order it.

That'd be cool if they could do a full soundtrack pack-in or have that option on Rosenqueen....

I missed the 1st game's soundtrack and then I find out the 2nd game had a larger soundtrack that what was in the PS2 bundle.....so I hope NISA could do something about getting the full thing so how so I don't have to import anything....

Ar Tonelico 2 was pretty well received. Won the best PS2 game of 2009 award on IGN--despite the Raki glitch.

Only if they were able to get the rights from the publishers. Why do you think that the previous soundtracks lacked all of the songs from the Hymmnos Concerts and the song magic tracks?

The only thing I disagree with is that I think Ar tonelico II had a good English dub. Other than that I fully agree with it.
