Would they really count as anthro characters, though? They seem like your standard anime catgirls/doggirls to me. They're not like, say, Swat Kats or Sly Cooper or something where they really are walking, talking animals.

Also, I so far have seen two episodes of this and I am enjoying it. Too bad the cool protagonist has fallen victim to tsundere rom-com antics already.

Well, the show seems to be bouncing back and forth... an episode of plot, an episode of action, an episode of plot, an episode of action...

It's as bouncy as anime girls' boobs.

Sadly the boobs in this aren't very bouncy.

I'm actually really enjoying the dog characters now. The hero, the princess, floppy ears, and so on.

Gaul is the only cat thus far that I've taken a real liking to - he seems like a fun bro type. His trio seems enjoyable too.

... One problem though... Dogs have more kinds of ears than "pointy", yet most of the characters have "pointy" dog ears which... basically means they have cat ears. The tails differ, sure, but the ears are what we see most of the time, and it's kind of lame to see DOG Days have so many CAT characters.

In other words, this is really Cat Days pretending to be Dog Days.

Could be a Japanese thing? Maybe they have lots of dogs with pointy ears? maybe they were just being lazy?

I just...am HORRIBLY biased towards cats. In real life, and in anime. Like, those cats versus dogs movies, I'll be sad when the cats lose. I was ALWAYS cheering on Tom and hoping he'd succeed and finally get his delicious meal one day.

So, me saying the cat characters are INFINITELY better than any of the dog characters, is kind of my super bias talking

In real life I think I'm either/or, though I have a huge preference to dogs. Man's best friend and all, what.

You do have a good point about the Asian dogs though; I can't think of that many dogs over there that AREN'T pointy-like, whereas I'm used to floppy ears and such.

So about that Episode 6. Oh my, whoever wanted the show to get more serious apparently got their wish. The end of the episode... I wonder what or who did "that." Could also explain why Princess Leo's been acting so weird... Was she trying to strengthen everybody to prevent "that" from happening, I wonder?

Episode 6, and Episode were fairly boring, at least the story's getting a little more interesting. But, still not nearly enough of Galette
Spoiler:
Poor Leo...She's doing all of this, just so that she can stop something which is bound to happen. Although, I have a feeling that someone is controlling those messages, and it's not really foretelling the future. Someone who wants war. Someone who wants REAL war. Of course, it could also be that they've been preparing the both of the countries for something much worse which they know about. It's hard to say, but I'm positive that's not Leo's actual divination, and someone else is doing it. And she's being played like a fiddle. I have a suspicion that man who's always hanging around her has something to do with it. He's just way too aggressive, and doesn't seem to be trying to keep things peaceable.

And, I feel really sorry for Becky too... :(

Anyways, the stuff that's happening, while episode 6 was a total bore, is enough to keep me watching. I really hope that which I predict will come true, if only to make for a much more interesting plot.

Interesting theory. Let's see if it proves correct.

I hope the show has more than 13 episodes, somehow I can't see everything being resolved in just six more eps, they might do a rush job.

My main fuel for this is something that was said by her
Spoiler:
She said that the divination was much more powerful than she was normally able to perform. Which implies it wasn't really her.

Spoiler:
I think it's kind of hilarious to see the girl getting treated like a dog for once... really, Cinque (guess Shinku was the wrong spelling), playing fetch and then scratching the princess' head to reward her?

Yeah, I think Cinque actually makes more sense than Shinku
Spoiler:
he's supposed to have been born in England or something right?

I don't even worry about who subs what. I just grab whatever's up first. As such, I go through many style changes
