Being single minded bored the heck out of me...and like you said, no plot growth, so it gets boring very, very quickly

At least Aizen, even when he trolled, was fleshed out well, won...a lot (winning=/=killing) and the like

My favorite villain in everything is Byakuran because he's all like yeah I can communicate with myself in parallel worlds and stuff. Nothing big.

I'd have to say Aizen, but only because of the difference in power between the characters

Remember that characters in Reborn are 100% human in most cases, while Aizen was border lining that of a god
