In regards to cross edge dash, NISA has stated that they will never localize it. Its funny how people forget and dont understand the companies they support

At this time, there are no plans to bring the game over. Many of the NIS America employees were shocked about the port news and there have been no talks about the game coming over here on the 360.

Sounds very different than never. And this is the Game Requests section, where I have requested a game.

I've put up PS2 games in this section as well, do you see people complaining about that?

I actually have spoken with a NISA employee as well, who basically said, any jrpg fan should own a ps3...

And no one would complain about a ps2 game because ITS REALISTIC... if you suggested a original xbox game get localized you would be crazy.

Again, stop ignoring what NISA stated not 3 months ago about ps3 support. Noone complains about bungie so far being a 360 exclusive company, so you shouldnt complain about nisa supporting sony. You all sound really jealous or something.

Lyner? That's because he was working on Trinity Universe at the time....

Realistic at this time? I doubt it. So I don't see why 360 can't fall into the same category. It's just a request.

Not him someone else.

Like I said bungie, lionhead support the 360 exclusively and no one complains, but when sony has 1 exclusive company people go insane with jealousy.

They aren't exclusive. That's what you're led to believe, as I've said many times before.

And I'm not aware of any other NISA employees who would speak out except the ones here.

While I don't own a PS3, I do own PS3 games, Cross Edge and Disgaea 3 being among my collection not to mention the excellent Valkyria Chronicles. I also own several Wii games despite the fact I don't own a Wii, with Muramasa: The Demon Blade being among my collection.

You have made your view known. Please stop derailing this topic any further.

It is one here just not the one you mentioned....

Like I keep posting

Look at there schedule

trinity universe - june
ateleir rorona - july - september

Basically 100 percent chance of localization next year.
ar tonelico III
atelier rorona 2
new disgaea ps3 project (will hold off calling this disgaea 4 until its released)

Its the facts, they are localizing ps3 games, get over it.

Again its not smart for nisa to localize any niche game like this on the 360. Its been proven that niche games sell better on sony and nintendo machines (by a lot I might add).

If you wanted NISA to succeed, you should be recomending ps3,ds games as those games actually sell. Suggesting a 360 game for them is asking for them to fail.

actually bungie got bought out by Microsoft. You may not know, but Oni was a Bungie developed game with Rockstar that came out on the PS2, PC and Mac. Then they made Halo for the Mac and PC, got bought out, retooled it for the xbox and were exclusive until after Halo 3 came out. As of right now Bungie doesn't need to branch out because they have sold more due to exclusivity than without.

That is not the case for NIS. NIS is exclusive to the PS3 and Wii because those are the 2 primary consoles in Japan. NIS America isn't going to port any NIS games to the 360, so that only leaves localizations of other games which they could do if they felt like it. People are asking for support for their console of choice from a company that licenses games.

I don't think this game should be a big budget release. Maybe following in the footsteps of Deadly Premonition.

I'd like to see this come over here, but I honestly can't see this being localized by NISA. If there was a PC version, I would have suggested trying JAST USA, since there is a good chance they'll localize Chaos;Head due to their partnership with Nitro+. In any case, since Nitro+ is partnered with them as their exclusive localization company, I can't see this coming over except through JAST USA.

yeah, i hoped for the 360 version, but thinking about how unsuccesful and badly received is the 360 in japan (the japanese market really doesn' t like western view on games, hence a western console, sometimes companies make popular or profittable titles as 360 esclusives trying to fuel the sales, but the craze wears off really quick), it's hopeless. at this point i would really digg a translated pc version, i would be satisfied even with a Steam release. i heard Jast was localizing Saya No Uta, there's any chance of seeing it, in any form , here in good ol' europe? If so, seeing Stein's Gate in the US and maybe in europe could be possible.

Just bumping to hopefully get some more interest in this title. Should NISA be interested in trying out the VN genre, Steins;Gate could be a good choice in that:
- The series is currently airing as an anime in Japan. There is also supposed to be a manga of the series as well.
- Steins;Gate is being ported to the PSP with new content.
- The original Xbox 360 version of the game was updated with newer features, achievements, and events.
- Highly regarded game in the genre and one of the best selling VN games from 5pb on the Xbox 360. 5pb seems to do well enough on the system in Japan, so hopefully a potentially larger audience is ready in North America.

Many VN games, if they ever do get to NA, are usually printed in small numbers and are on the PC. It's been mentioned that JAST USA or Nitro+ would be the ones to look to for the PC versions, but I have yet to see any news on a release from them.

In any case, this request is for NISA to consider localizing Steins;Gate, possibly landing a deal to do both the Xbox 360 and PSP versions of the game.

My questions for NISA would be this:
- How was Disgaea Infinite received in North America? Did it meet expectations?
- I can understand different types of development budgets between more playable type games (such as SRPGs, but would games in the VN genre typically cost more/less to localize?

Spoiler:
Ever17 remake would also be a good choice!

I'm all for this game. That said, being a VN and on 360, I don't think it's NISA's call to localize this one.

i would be happy with a localization of the PSP version, even if it's only a PSN release.
