Comiket 80 preview:

Possibly one of my most anticipated anime continuations ever.
I am so happy that they have decided to follow the novels this time around, since Shana II was a train wreck until around episodes 12, 13, and 14.

Spoiler:
Yuji as the end... holy shit, he looks even more badass in anime form!!
I thought his art in the novels was epic, but holy shit! LOL

I am assuming that's what it meant, but not being able to read Japanese, not like I can be sure of that. xD

No, I don't think so.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to a new season of Shana. . . I happened to skip that OVA though. But is there any word on if its a half season or a full 24-26 episode season?

It was my opinion, there was no need for a comment on it, since it doesn't effect you ~

It's a full season, since it is the final season of Shana.
When was the last time JC staff did a half season with any of their anime, Yumekui Merry is the last one that I remember.

Season 2...I dunno, it didn't appeal to me like season 1 did, I still haven't finished it.

For me there wasn't really any specific reason, it just didn't feel as good and I wasn't eager to watch the next episode.

Fair enough. I enjoyed it quite a bit, but that's got nothing to do with your opinions.

Oh but it did you see, I read it and was instantly hit with ZOMGWTFBBQQUACK is this madness and I could not resist the impulse to say something.

Anyways back to the important stuff. Umm Hello? Last month . . . Hidan no Aria? the way you say it its like its been 10 years or something. . . .They have only done 3 series for 2011 and of the 3, 2 of them are half season series. Now I realize that how many episodes one anime gets doesn't really matter to another because its usually based on popularity and how much material there is for the plot .... but given the current market where most of the series are half season .. I wonder. . . oh well *crosses fingers and hopes for the best*

What really sucks about J.C.Staff is they are one of the few studio's still producing SD anime .. seriously SD in 2011 X_X.

I gave up on staying up to date with anime, my connection prevents me from doing so. 512kbps compared to the 15mbps I had in Houston... yeah, there is no comparison. >_<

So for me, it is like there hasn't been any from JC Staff for about a year, since I just haven't kept up to date. I am still trying to finish Index II for Pete's sake.

I understand Hidan no Aria and Yumekui Merry were half season, but Merry was understandable seeing as how they had to make a plot for it, since the manga doesn't even have enough volumes to warrant a full season... yet.

And Hidan no Aria... was a new acquisition as well, and seeing as how I know nothing about Aria at the moment... yeah can't comment much about it.

It's almost guaranteed Shana III will be a full season, otherwise it would be awkward as hell and hard to follow. Since the novels honestly would need more than 24 episodes to get an accurate story... that's the only worry I have.

And after seeing that trailer, I really do think they are going to skip around and only touch on the most important things. To be honest, for Shana III (Final) to make even a bit of sense or feel fluid it would need two seasons of it's own.

I am excited for it, but I am hesitant with how they will approach it, since 13 episodes is certainly not enough, and even 24 episodes is a shot in the dark. My biggest fear is that it will feel rushed, yeah... a 24 episode anime feeling rushed, that'd be a first for me. LOL

wow 45kB/s I remember those days, I cant see how that stops you. but ok i guess i get it.

I believe its very possible for 24 eps .... I just don't want to get my hopes up .. lots of things have been failing it up in anime land the last 2-3 years. It's going to suck if they do 24 episodes and half of it is filler nonsense crap.

If there was any filler to be had, it would have to be pulled out of their ass. Most of the novels after the Pheles arc are rather plot filled. Sure there is a bit of filler, but because of a certain character's actions... yeah, it doesn't last long.
