How can you not make a 3D designed world NOT look realistic nowadays? Unless you want it to be some psychedelic trip heh

Ahh, now it makes sense...yeah, I appreciate many of the styles that games use...the realistic art included...though I do enjoy cel-shading and stuff more, realistic art can make me stop and look at the environment for awhile

I feel like I get enough of realism in real life.........so when I see it in games I find it horrible.........

Meh, I appreciate when a game can get close to realism, seeing as I started with SNES, it's amazing what they can do now

I'm perfectly fine with how gaming is now, and I wouldn't trade anything for it to go back to how it was in the 'old days'.

Also, I just prefer anime. That's just me. I can appreciate realistic settings and stuff though.

Same here vamp, I'd never wanna go back to the old days, now that I've experienced the modern day stuff...20 minute games, that compared to now, lack certain aspects...I'd never got back to that

I'm not gonna be blinded by nostalgia heh

I prefer anime based stuff as well when it comes to RPGs, but I think that's more because of the fleshed out story lines, while the more realistic, western RPGs have almost no set story path and the like...for Action games, I have no preference

In your opinion, I still have favorites from previous gens, but I get a LOT more enjoyment from current gens...I like my RPGs having stories longer than 15 hours, I like my action games being well...actiony, etc...you get the point...

So I'm gonna enjoy this game, and Asura's Wrath with their more realistic style

what rpgs were you playing? Theres been hundred hour rpgs since the nes days.....................

And just like this gen. Theres very few in terms of actual story.

Now back on topic. I dont like the style, gameplay, and just the game itself. But the name I like.

Asuras wrath I really like because its not in the realistic style. Cyberconnect is actually a good developer

I dunno, Asura's Wrath seems very similar to this, but is just faster...seeing as most action games play VERY, VERY similar, but I even admit that Asura's Wrath is higher priority

I finally got an HDMI cable, so the more realistic stuff can look pretty nice graphically now...

As for gameplay, from what I've seen, it looks more enjoyable than Demon's Souls at least

I find that hard to believe, considering I loved Demon's Sou...

Watched Trailer, WOW....this actually looks really fun!

Sorry for ignoring it for so long, now I actually am interested =^-^=

Told ya to trust me more vamp! (Okay, I didn't)

But yeah, it really looks enjoyable...like...MH with a Tolkein Skin tossed on sure, but that isn't a bad thing. I'm sure the game itself won't be as time consuming as MH, since it won't have multiplayer, BUT it looks like it might be an enjoyable early 2012 game, to go along with FFXIII-2, ToGf, and Asura's Wrath

And the enemies in this are visually appealing, to me at least
