asuras wrath actually looks really good to me. Because hardly anything is realistic.

Asura's wrath just looks like another God of War game. And since I never really liked that series (big turn-off was all teh blatant nudity, overflowing testosterone, etc...), I can't see myself enjoying this.

But Dragon's Dogma looks to be a nice balance and I REALLY wanna play it.

Also, from what I've seen, you might be able to control the party members you have actually. Not sure about that one 100%. The combat also looks pretty fluid.

I read that you cant control the characters......the whole game looks like a poor mans fake monster hunter without all the good parts.......

asuras wrath is over the top but at least it looks different

So you're saying two games that are similar to each other can't exist? I don't see it as a poor mans "fake" Monster Hunter...I see it as there being a game similar to it, with some minor changes. We don't know much about the game, but it does look enjoyable

Sure, I'm much, much more lenient when judging an action game, but this looks more enjoyable than some games...and MH with a story isn't a bad thing

The graphics and lack of art style are what really turns me off immediately.

How can it lack an art style? I think what you mean is that you don't like the realistic style, seeing as my graphic crazed friends said it had awesome graphics

Gameplay and storyline, and characters are my main focus for a game...Gameplay being the main thing for action games, seeing as the other stuff usually takes the back burner to that...so looking at gamepla videos has made it look interesting

And unlike MH, it has a class system with 9 confirmed classes so far, so at least there might be some replay value with that

Yeah thats what I meant.............

And monster hunters differentiation comes from the weapons, not from character "classes" specifically.

The gameplay is kinda lame to me. Its just hack and slash

I play games like Dynasty Warriors, so I'm used to mindless hack and slash...and with giant enemies, there is the possibility of there being strategy...

Every once in awhile, a hack and slash game is good though, and this really doesn't look it, due to the bow not being as fast in the gameplay video

I've played (and enjoyed) quite a few hack n slash games, and this really doesn't look like one, so I'm not sure where you're getting that Stealth. it's okay if you don't like it. That's perfectly fine. But calling this a hack n slash is a bit strange

Yup, sure, it's an action game...but a hack and slash, nah...

If that definition was attached to a game like this, Ninja Gaiden would be one as well...though I'm not saying this is in the same style as Ninja Gaiden, this is more like the Lord of the Rings games, MH, and DS than anything

Ummm..Hack n Slash aren't 'mindless' really. Play Dynasty Warriors 7 on Chaos mode, or even just hard mode, and try and tell me that you can just sit there mindlessly pressing the attack button ;)

Yup, that's really fun, and not mindless...hahahaha

This game is an action game, there's no questioning that...but I'm sure there will be more attacks than just 1 button...seeing as this is a fantasy game, classes are most likely gonna have spells, physical attacks, and the need for blocking
