I wish NISA & others would'nt give up on the PSP just yet. I mean I guess I'm fine with BRS (& possibly MKP) being PSN/download only. But it would be really nice to have physical copies as well. Heck the 3DS has been out since March & theres still regular DS games coming out, and the PS2 still had games come out even years after the PS3 hit the market. Really sad everyones so eager to drop the PSP like an unwanted child. Yes I know it underperfomred here...but frankly I love my PSP. And i love how NISA released so many fun games for it.

C'mon NISA let the PSP go out with a bang BRS & MKP physical releases baby! 8-)

And with that my rant is done.

Look at the install base of the DS and PS2 versus the PSP, and it will be painfully obvious why companies kept releasing for them well after their replacements were released.

As a fan, you're totally welcome (and encouraged) to think like that. But as a company, we're not able to think in terms of what a system deserves, but what is financially feasible. It's much less romantic, sure, but it's what keeps companies like us in business.

I see, well, can't blame a guy for trying. Anywho glad the BRS will be getting a US release even if it will most likely be PSN only.

After hearing about the Vita offering boosted visuals for psp games, I'm not as upset about this possibly getting a psn only release.

Still upset about No Scared though. :(

You'd be surprised how much a music license cost nowadays. I remember reading about an anime series Aniplex wanted to localize a while back and then they balked at the asking price for some band's theme song, which was purported to be 3/5 of the total cost of the anime license itself.

I don't think the artists were soaking them ... I'm pretty sure it's the recording industry that's gotten a bit too greedy...

Do people STILL think that the game's opening is being changed?

It's just not being included in the soundtrack (the one that will be bundled with the possible LE), that's all.

See the other thread. There's no confirmation we'll be able to keep the song in the US version at this point.

Houk already replied but it's not confirmed because the license is for the music by a very well-known JRock band and their recording studio/publisher/distributor/whatever hasn't agreed to a license. Yes, you need a license, even if it's just the opening and not for the soundtrack. I think people around here are to quick to assume things especially about a process that isn't exactly open and transparent...

I'm gonna rage hard if license issues causes the opening to get cut.

You know Japanese or something?

Cause the Euro release won't magically include the opening in the game if the NA release doesn't.
