DMC Fixed.....All is well

people shouldn't be fooled into buying this. It's just as shameful they are now trying to sell it as a alternate dimension DMC. That isn't what DMC fans have been waiting for, and good sales would only give those untalented developers more excuse to replace the actual DMC series with this new trash series.

Sigh... it just goes to show the majority will buy any DMC as long as DMC is on the cover.

DMC is not fixed, it's being replaced by a DMC wannabe looking for cash above all and developed by idiots that originally tried to reboot the series, but fan reactions forces Capcom to "label" it as something else, instead of making a true proper sequel. Those developers have no business making a DMC, and Capcom doesn't deserve any money for letting them get away with this.

Spin offs can be okay, but this DMC is proving to be the worse spin off/alternate reality in the series to date.

This is a clever post, one in which the reality of is something I fear. I was finally content with the idea of the new Dante eventually becoming the old Dante. It gave a purpose in looking forward to an eventual game featuring our old Dante. However, giving that this is being treated as an entirely new IP, the thought of this new game selling well only spells doom for those clinging on to the old franchise.

This is an un-clever post, one in which there is no actual reality to. I don't think anyone will be "fooled" into purchasing this title. I had interest in the game even before they declared this so called "alternate dimension" and it had nothing to do with the letters D, M, or C strategically placed in the title. Whereas I'm not the least bit happy about this alternate dimension replacing the original Devil May Cry universe, this new game looks very promising on its own.

Anyways, seeing how I can only access the web via my phone; if someone could please provide a YouTube link of the video present in the recent Siliconera article posted by Aphy I'd greatly appreciate it. My phone will no longer allow me to view embedded videos on Siliconera's website. And searching for the video myself on YouTube has resulted in nothing.

Umm, I count Mk2 as a 2011 game...seeing how that's when it was released. Plus I've already played it. Although DmC looks better than even Mk2, Meruru, Infinite Souls, and the continuing list, so yeah.

True, and you play as some very, very cute girls at that. But I personally don't mind games where you play as males, especially since my favorite game of all time in Uncharted 3.

Because games where you play as female characters are rare and niche for the most part. Stereotypical action games with tough guys sells better, so naturally big named developers and publishers are going to cash in on that.

I could be wrong, but Bayonetta is the biggest, most mainstreamest game starring a female character that I can think of.
