Not just anime, but video games, and everything else is crazy expensive in Japan and it's got even worse because of all of these earthquakes and tsunamis that Japan has got since March.

With Blu-ray movies though, even though they know that they're charging ridiculously high prices on their anime Blu-rays, but with America being the same Blu-ray Region as Japan, Japanese anime companies fear that their fans will buy the American version which is a lot cheaper instead of the actual Japanese version. This is why a lot of times anime on Blu-ray is slow on reaching America especially since the Japanese audio would be included.

The RAW for the OVA is out, but no subs yet. Hoping like hell we'll see some tomorrow or Friday.

I would buy it if they domesticate it. I refuse to import at Japanese prices. They are insane in Japan when it comes to cost and they don't understand the American Market one bit. Look at how the Japanese tanked Bandai. Bring it here NISA, and I will buy it.

No matter how long it takes, as soon as NISAmerica picks this up and puts the pre-orders on sale I'm there.

I signed up for the NISA forums just to say that I really want Toradora! on Blu-Ray! I hate buying anime on DVD, I want everything to be in HD....

...but my love for this anime forced me to buy Toradora! on DVD from Amazon and would gladly buy it again if ever released on Blu-Ray.
