I don't know, I live too busy a life to devote that much attention to such a demanding game. I like the idea, mostly influenced by how cute Ion is, but I can't say I wouldn't get tired of it after a while. And I still hate the idea of purchasing a partiality developed game then forking over additional cash in monthly increments just to continue playing it. DLC is fine, even additional events or whatever, but don't make it necessary to enjoy the game.

I won't hold my breath for NISA localizing this one anyway.

It actually sounds more appealing to me after reading the most recent article. :|
Can't see it being localized due to the format though.

Depending on how far off this game is, Gust could merely be testing the waters with reaction to the infinite-DLC idea. I mean, certainly better than just going ahead with it and then having it blow up in their faces (which seems to be the current course). Since the feedback seems to be rather poor, maybe they'll put off the release in order to make it self-contained with normal DLC.

Where is the poor feedback?

NO clue. I thought I was pretty much alone in this. Every post I've seen of that info on various sites has people praising the game and only lamenting that it probably won't be localized.

Maybe I'm just overblowing it in my head, but most of the comments I've seen are all screaming "Ripoff!" (In regards to the 1+ year DLC schedule.)

Probably not anywhere Gust cares about ;) both here and some other (English) video game news sites.

Yeah, I've certainly encountered poor feedback, but never anywhere that would lead me to believe Gust would care.

I'm not sure why the location of feedback should matter, as long as the feedback itself is sound or reasonable. I think the concerns that the DLC model expects players to keep playing the same game for a year or more are extremely legitimate and fall on Gust's shoulders to really play up this game.

Again, it's still presumably early, so hopefully more information will really come out. Personally, this kind of game isn't my style, but the visuals look great and it's nice to see something new in the industry, so I just hope Gust does all it can to convince people that this game and its DLC are worth buying.
