I'm stuck in front of the palace in the first world and can't figure out where to go / what to do. I beat some boss in a candy dungeon, and did a pushing puzzle to get some wand-thing, but I've been stuck for over an hour.

I'm sorry, I can't remember the game well despite beating it twice, so I can't really help you there. I'm only responding so you won't think you're being ignored.

Try exploring everywhere, walk everywhere, and hit everything with your cane. That's what I do in every screen, anyway. I think sometimes you'll find items and/or switches.

well, i just got there now..... So far my progression is:
-destroyed icecream on the way to the gate
-helped the gingerbread man find his brother
-beat the cavity boss
I havent checked the gate yet after that, but i know your stuck with the gate saying weakling, the gate does not accept you or some crap like that.....

Yyyyup. I mean, I beat some boss and it *still* calls me a weakling? Argh.

hmm...i think you need to do all the other things you CAN do before the gate i think... i still havent progressed more than i already have (was too busy getting the artina epilogue in disgaea 4) but the last thing i remember was the ginger bread man saying something like "for helping me find my brother, you can have my treasure. i hid it in my secret base in the chocolate pond" or whatnot... i think you may need to do that

I don't think I've found the brother yet.

Though I HAVE searched, like, every inch of the area he's supposed to be. Unless it's that crazy one... o.O

hmm, well, i remember talking to the brother in Rem Sacchras and then going to that macaroon island place, he was at the top part of the first few macaroons, also, while randomly exploring, i found the entrance to grape juice river in the second few macaroons ( the one that actually leads to Rem. i found a candy cane that apparently belongs to gretel or whatever, i forgot, i havent played in a while but i still dunno if thats enough... i havent gone past that part yet

actually, i just got to playing it again, and it turns out you needed to get a few materials for an exchange with babygada or whatever that old trade shop person was called, such as burnt butter which can be found by returning the candy cane to that giant statue which you can find by going through the maze area, and some items that you find on other quests such as defeating tooth ache and finding the lost brothers. its called a sweets key or something, anyways, hope that helps... im now inside the palace XD oh yeah, might i ask which manga that page on your signature belongs to?

That spell doesn't even matter, the invincibility cape works on the ENTIRE party. I had enough juice to churn out an ancient spell, Tax Expa with Dayna, and that invincibility move the entire fight with the final boss, and still had 1500 mp left
