This brought a smile to my face, since I absolutely adore this anime ~<3

Keep in mind that this show is based on the Light Novels, for which there are 9 already released, and not so much the manga. The latter doesn't hurt to have either, but I'm pretty sure the anime will far surpass what the manga covers by the time it is finished.

Awww episode 8 ~

Spoiler:
This show just is a really great show. I knew that landlord lady wasn't as bad as she seemed. She's just strict, but Hina's adorableness and Miu won her over! She also just probably has seen a lot of young kids being really irresponsible.

Can't wait for episode 9 ~

Episode 8
Spoiler:
Even the wicked witch can't stand up to Hina's cuteness.

Yuuto's still overworking himself I think, but at least things have stabilized for the moment.

It's a bit too convenient that things seem to work out so easily after each cliffhanger but it still makes for a nice, heartwarming show :)

Yeah, it's convenient, but I'm fine with that. It's good to have a show that does this sort of thing every once in a while.

If by "convenient" you mean "they got lucky on the really big issues but are otherwise barely scraping by," then sure~

Spoiler:
Yuuta is still working 2 jobs while looking for a 3rd and somehow having to juggle college in there, and they haven't exactly resolved the Takanashi family issues either, just more or less put them on hold. I'm still waiting for the foreshadowed college credit discussion. "Your sister wouldn't want you to sacrifice college, you should think about your own future more!"

Yeah, there still are serious issues looming. And I guess it'd be better to say
Spoiler:
each time they just keep on pushing back problems, so things are likely to really blow in their faces soon enough. Yuuta is by no means being some sort of carefree guy who isn't really trying. He's working himself hard to make the chance for those girls to be able to grow up together. I'm pretty sure that family thing will get to be more troublesome in the future. We're not even halfway through. Only 3/4 through the first season, we still have a whole nother season to go.

Yes, it was in reference of situations like "Oh noes you're getting evicted! No, wait; you have a cute cousin, never-mind you can stay." It just feels too easy. I guess "lucky" works for it

Spoiler:
Ehh, I don't think Hina being cute is the reason he was allowed to stay. It was more of a combination of factors of the landlord's mother's advice and her relationship with the girls, her realizing that Yuuta was truly putting forth effort to maintaining the family, and the incident with Hina where she acknowledges that her own perspective and experiences aren't paramount.

The scene with Hina on the apartment landing and subsequent bath/reconciliation scene serve more to show the landlord (does she have a name? Probably, but not going to go figure that out now) that she's pretty self-absorbed and had little consideration for the situations of others. She just assumes that the girls would be happier and better off in a more stable home without consulting them or hearing their thoughts and experiences. Making Hina cry is like a splash of ice water that shocks her off her pedestal, then the short conversation with Miu allows her to understand the unique situation Yuuta is in with the girls.

Combining her new perspective with Yuuta's willingness to throw away his pride and beg for not even residence, but just a time extension (pro tip: subservient bowing is a huge brownie point winner in Japanese culture), and pile on the fact that even the girls are supporting him, not just kind along for the ride, and I think the end result is less "convenience" or "luck" and more of an example of (indirect) conflict resolution.

Okay I'll admit I made a hasty generalization about the "cue factor." But this doesn't always work in real life, hence my opinion on the "convenience" of the resolution Suffice to say, without going into too many personal details, I've had a similar experience and it did not turn out the same. ^_^

Like I said, it's my opinion and may very well be skewed by personal experiences.
