In a nut-shell, the game's mediocre. It doesn't shine, it doesn't differentiate itself from every other dungeon crawler, it's just more of the same.

I'm beginning to wonder if there's anything you do like.

The pre-order of the game came out a month ago in my local gamestop

Wait, what? If Gamestop leaked it, how did NO website report it?

Good question. I don't know either. Probably because gaming websites get their games through mail or directly from the manufacture so they never bother going to gamestop and look at their upcoming games sheet. I don't remember the release date since I'd never pre-order this game because the gameplay looks horrible to me.

Even if you try to talk to them it's the same generic answer.
I tried saying get something less niche and something they can do a physical release to and all I got was the old and dusty "We can't please everyone and it costs too much"

And now I'm starting to fear that I pushed for Ragnarok Odyssey there, because if it's DD-only, I'll cry.

Well it has to do with the willingness of retailers to stock niche titles as well.

Honestly, as much as I love collecting games, I'd much rather have DD then no release at all. If the only way for a niche game to release is by DD, I gladly will support it. While having a physical copy is nice, it's the game itself that matters the most.

The only reason The Last Story isn't DD-only is because WiiWare doesn't take games with more than 100MB size.
