Lol. Or they could just take turns taking the spotlight every other Neptunia game. Which means Neptune is up, and Nepgear is on the bench.

Spoiler:
could be like the goddesses would start talking to gear through the sword since the sword absorbed their powers etc xD

however i would really just like a game with neptune as the main :o maybe even noire!

Quite frankly, I didn't like Gear in teh least bit.
I did in Japanese, but in English...?

Not so much.

Neptune is much better, she's the face of the series, and having a new title where she is not the protagonist is blasphemy as far as I'm concerned.

You read my mind!
Give Neptune her turn, then let Gear take the spotlight in a later title.

And I think Gear's the face of the series

But, either way, it's just our opinions. I'm surprised you didn't like EN Gear, but ah well. For me, she was better than the JP one ~

That honestly makes no bloody sense.

The series is named "Neptune", based upon the story/stories surrounding the character "Neptune", it's her series. Gear got time in the spotlight, but Neptune is the sole reason for this series existence.

Neptune is the face of the series, because it's entirely based around her. Even in Mk2, it was still about her and the CPUs, moreso

If Gear was the face of the series, the game would be called "Chou Jigen Game Nepgear" not "Chou Jigen Game Neptune".

Admittedly, I liked her for a bit, but she's not the type of character that I prefer. >_>

Yeah in Japan it's literally called "Superdimensional Game Neptune" she clearly is the main character and the face of the franchise. She even has a line in the game that goes something like this "How could you be more popular then me? I'm like the main character of this game franchise and stuffs" lol. I really like Ge-Ge but the next game should definitely have Neptune be the main protagonist for sure.

Really cute way of possibly hinting toward a new Neptunia game, really looking forward to seeing where this leads. ^_^

By the way, what ever happened to the proposed Noire game? Is that not going to happen now? I actually was somewhat interested in that and was wondering what it would be about.

Bleh....damn, at first I thought it was just a joke or something anyway to go along with the whole "Noire Style" thing but that's a shame to hear considering I was remotely excited about a game starring Noire.

At least I have this new game to look forward to and be excited about if this really is a hint/announcement of a new Neptunia game.

While Noir is my fave character, I don't really intend her to be the main character in the next neptunia game (though I'd love to see her main in a spinoff game). I think the next Neptunia game shouldn't HAVE a main character...Be more like FF3/6 where they're all pretty much equally starred...Sure you're stuck with Terra and locke at the start. But for the majority of the game, you see pretty much everyone equally.

If that translation is correct, they seem to be heading in the right direction if they're looking for a more serious Neptunia game.

Now I think all that's left is to show how some companies are being like cancer in the game industry similar to how they showed Avenir in the first game.

Unless this is something completely different.

Agreed!
Stop focusing solely on the piracy, and focus on some of the companies whose business models are absolute trash. *COUGHELECTRONICARTSCOUGH*

Everything Assinine ERRR I mean Electronic Arts is one of the reasons why some ppl pirate games actually

I think all I have to say to explain that is this: DRM, huge day 1 DLC, poor QA, etc.

Indeed, I would much rather them focus on Companies that plague the industry, rather than piracy. Mix it up a bit, oh and also focus on companies that make stupid choices, promise games, and then cancel them. MML3 anyone?

As well as those that include almost all the DLC on Disc just to charge a premium for it later *Cough*
Same company... again.

Yeah this is how they should be doing it if they wanted to make a serious Neptunia game.

I think that Capcom personification could be good "hero that messes up and ends up supporting the villain by accident" material.

People would get mad at her because of stuff she would do when she's trying to benefit for herself or whatever and they would turn to Arfoire when she doesn't want them to.
