Eeeh? It's doable in GIMP just fine.

My userbar sucks cause i made it when I had no time.

I had most of it done, just needed the striped background and a clear shot of Maso's face.

Screw the stripes, stripes are just an oppressive system set by the man, man!

I like your gradient, but how did you merge the Mugen Souls logo and the characters to the background? Whenever I try to make a new layer, the Mugen souls logo just shows up in white and the character has pixels that are messed up around it. Elaborate!

I just used Photoshop, had no issues. Sorry that I can't really help you with gimp :c

Well I was never really that serious about userbars, first I've made for years to be honest. Not since I had GIMP myself some 4 years ago.

GIMP's simple in some ways, and complex in others. Add to the fact that it can have scripts added into to enhance photo editing and you can...well do a lot.

By the way, doubt anyone remembers, but I said I would make an animation bar for Mugen Souls using already created ones? Well here it is:

I think it's simple, yet makes sense so it's nice. So minor "distortions" during animation, but still good.

I think a popular meme phrase would fit this just fine, along the lines of "Yo dawg I heard you like Mugen Souls userbars, So we put Mugen Souls userbars in your Mugen Souls userbars."
