I have completed both Seven (PS2) and Venus & Braves (PS2, PSP) and give this iteration a hearty endorsement. Both games are fun for deep party management (i.e., "franchise mode") and formation strategy. Seven would be a quality RPG for the US iTunes store.

Guess we'll have to see how well that Disgaea game does on the Android before we see NISA touch any more Smartphone games. I'd potentially support this if NISA wants to localize iPhone games :)

Yeah, I can't support mobile games either. I have learend I only use my PS3 or my PSP (soon to be Vita) for gaming. I never play games on my phone, and I just don't play games on my PC. It just doesn't happen.

You don't have to, it's already been officially translated (look at the post above you).

Just found this on the store (I'm late... you doods should've PM'd me)! I'll play it tonight and write up some impressions. But considering that I'm probably the only one here with heavy experience in this franchise, I doubt anyone would notice changes if there are any.

(Also, move to General Discussion please.)

So... as long as this is bumped, I've been playing Seven and developed a strong party if anyone wants a bit of help (Friend -> Invite -> RedCoKidw6). As for impressions, the original gameplay of Seven or Venus & Braves was quite restrictive, and most of those simple-yet-elegant rules have been broken for iOS in exchange for a rudimentary cool-down action point system to nickel & dime you to get anything substantial done. Still, raising characters offers the biggest bang for the buck; I'd recommend investing 30 SP (~$0.35) per character per day... yeah. :?

My wallet tells me to quit and start a new save file on my V&B PSP. By the way, would anyone know how to buy PSP imports off PSN, preferably without having to make a second account with a joke overseas address? I'd like to play JP PSP V&B on a US Vita as well.

In the works there is a sequel/add-on entitled, "Seven: Thousand Wars: Season II." An upgraded system will feature 5 columns by 3 rows, eschewing namesake to allow up to 10 characters to take the battle field. New character designs. More later...
