Big losses for Sony + job cuts

thats really though for the blue collar worker that work there but i think that sony's problem is due to the drop in quality of their products as of late...plus,it doesnt help that their products are on the xpensive side as well.outsourcing has done a number on japanese businesses since it all started in the 90's

Well it says that they're money pit is currently their TV division, and seeing how huge Sony is, I wouldn't worry too much about other more profitable sections being that effected.

I guess I was more thinking of that large number of layoffs. Even if the gaming division is doing alright, I hope some of those cuts won't be for that division as well :/

Could this be the reason why there are rumors of a PS4 work? You know, facing problems for the upcoming succes of the WIIU.

Or maybe the fact that still the losts for selling a 600$ machine to 300$ finally caught them off.

Except it's the Electronics division that's doing bad, the games division is doing just fine.
