New Pram's Wish List

Just thought I'd let you all know that the new Pram's Wish List is complete and should be launching next week. It's been improved in about every area and we hope everyone will like it. I think the most important difference for the new Wish List is the way it manages the wishes. As the old version grew in size, it became harder to manage and more difficult to browse through (for fans and employees). This was fixed in the new version so we can promise you all we'll be paying a lot more attention and hopefully granting many more wishes!

If there are any more last minute ideas/opinions, now's the time to post them here.

Actually, that's a great idea.

Different sections for different categories of wishes! You could have games in one category, figurines and collectibles in another, clothes in one... whatever you can think of. This could help the list be more organized and clean.

Err, I'm not sure I understand the question. What exactly do you mean by Laharl and Flonne getting improved? (approved?)

As long as it has a category for games we wish would be localized, I'm happy.

Unfortunately, we can't make that an option for Pram's Wish List. When we first launched the original, we localized a couple of titles based on huge "wish support" and they flopped. Due to the large amount of time, money, and effort it requires to localize games (not to mention the sometimes ridiculous difficulty of obtaining a license), we've decided it's too risky to use the Wish List for game requests.

This doesn't mean we're not interested in what you think we should bring over, however. We love to get feedback from our fans! So I'm going to open a Game Request forum where you can create polls or make suggestions. You're always welcome to send e-mails to our support mail, support@nisamerica.com, or use our contact form, as well.

I just hope people don't use that game request forum for anything that's out of your jurisdiction. I can already tell what people are going to be asking for. I'm not saying certain things aren't possible, but you do have to think about how hard a license is to get, and how well it would be received to audiences in the US and Europe. That's why when I see so many of these on the Atlus forums, it really makes me uneasy.

That's a better answer than I expected. Usually, when a game company stops doing something, they go all in on it. It's good to know that you're still receptive to our input.

If I might inquire, what were those experimental titles? Unfortunately, my NISA library only extends back to Atelier Iris 1-3, Ar tonelico 1-2, and the three Disgaeas.

Don't quote me on this, but I think I remember reading somewhere that NISA didn't want to localize Rhapsody DS at first, but people asked for it so they did anyway. And... it kinda flopped.

Probably Cross Edge as well, though I personally enjoy the game and want to see a sequel. But there was a lot of whiners/complainers about it.

The new wish list looks very nice and clean, good job.

I must admit I did laugh at the Prinny Burger wish though XDD
