Anyway, I personally don't see the problem with "too big a cast". Most of the best strories I've read feature big casts, to the point that it's hard to keep track of all their names. Though in all honesty most of the human cast are pretty low on how much I like them overall so I wouldn't be too crushed personally, I just don't see how it would really benefit anything.

I don't want Iffy axed. I figure Iffy/Compa will stay. All the others I wouldn't totally mind if they brought in new characters to make up the difference.

Well If I remember right Cave, Red, and Falcom weren't credited on the sites, yet they were still in them >.> and I wonder how big the "seven sages" group will be, I doubt there would be actually seven of them.

Because they were announced as DLC from the very beginning.
And if it says seven sages, it obviously means there are seven of them-- the number is there for a reason you know. :roll:

Kind of is in the sense that a dlc character either wont be in the majority of the story... or they'll be in the story and you simply have absolutely no good reason why you can't have them as a playable character. I mean honestly, if the 2nd case, how would your enjoyment increase simply because you LACK the option to use the character you don't intend to use anyway in a single player game? It just doesn't add anything.

You mean like NISA and Gust and 5pb? and Cave and Falcom? They've done it before. I think we all can assume they'll do it again.
