Sierra gave a slight noise that could have been a laugh, and she moved with Meera until she stopped.
"Can't remember the way? Don't worry, I think I know how to get to the Student Council Room. I took a look at the map from before."

Sierra looked down the hall.
"It should be... this way."

"I'm surprised you survived." said Jessica, with a tone that could be misinterpreted as sarcastic. "Is that the end of your story? I figured you would say everything that happened until you got to the Academy. In my case, there's no way I could spend hours talking about it-- but yours seems a little different. Class is over, so until we have to settle matters for the Student Council, I suppose I could finish hearing your tale. If you don't mind telling, that is." having finished her tea, Jessica started eating a piece of apple pie.

"Oh-- sorry, yeah," Anthony said, coming back to reality. "Just got caught up in the past is all. Anyway... after I turned sixteen, that's when I began to see these advertisements about the Academy appear. It was really far from where I was at the time, and Majin were everywhere in between. Long story short, it took me a year to get here. I lost my favorite weapon in the process, a hammer named Volund. When I saw the advertisement again I caught the Academy's location and applied shortly after. And now I'm here."

He put his arms down and looked at Jessica intently.

"Volund? That's an interesting name. How did you lose it?" Jess quickly finished her apple pie and brought a napkin to her mouth, cleaning it. "Actually, I would like to hear the full story. How did you get it?" she asked, with a smile on her face.

"It was a gift to me when I was fourteen. I was badly injured one day during my travels when an old married couple found me and nursed me back to health at their farm. They did it for nothing and for a complete stranger. To repay them, I stayed for a little while and helped them with their farm duties while I recuperated. They were like my grandparents to me, though I never actually had grandparents that I knew. They treated me as if I were their own, and I could never return the favor. This is where I get the hammer.

"One day, I could tell something was wrong. They seemed tense while we were eating breakfast. When I asked the old man what was wrong, he could only shake his head. He didn't look at me the whole meal. Later, he set off into the woods, where I thought he'd be gathering firewood for the night, as they preferred not to use electricity. I went up to my room and the old lady went to tend to the animals later on. Or so I thought. I went back down a few hours later to grab something to quickly eat when I noticed a note. It said 'When you realize that we're both gone, go into the shed and open the secret compartment behind the rake.' When I did, inside was the hammer and another note.

"The note said that raiding war profiteers had threatened to kill them if they didn't provide them with free food and supplies. The old man and lady went together in hopes of stopping them. The note said that if I was reading this, then they were dead or about to be killed and there was nothing that could be done. The note said to grab the hammer, Volund, and run. It was a family heirloom, the value of which was unmatched by a lot of other treasures. I needed to escape while I still had the chance, but I had to abandon my belongings because I could hear the raiders cheering, awaiting their loot.

"But it alo turned out to be a very powerful weapon that both suited my fighting style and packed quite a punch. It was perfect for me, almost as if it was forged for my hands alone. About a year later, however, I was ambushed. It was the same raiders from the farm. Somehow, they had managed to track me down. I fought as best as I could, but being outnumbered five to one was too much for a fifteen year old boy to handle. My life has been a stroke of luck, cheating death three times, and most of the people I came to love have left me and not had the same luck." He finally finished. While reliving those major parts of his life, he did not even notice that he started crying, tears streaming down his face. His breath was shaky.

"That's why I joined the war effort," he said wiping his face. "To help end all this suffering."

"I see. While I do recognize this is a sad story, you'll have to forgive me for not crying with you. It's not the first time someone has told me about their tragic past. Anyway, I'm done eating. Shall we go check on Nenechan? I assume she's recovering by now. I would like to talk to her." Jessica stood up as she finished speaking, ready to leave the Cafeteria.

Anthony wiped his face and he was no longer crying, but his eyes were still a bit blotchy.

"Y-yeah, you're right," he said. "And no, it's fine. I just don't share that story too often with other people. Let's go see how Nene's doing."

He led the way back to the ward where Nene was being tended to, opening and holding the door for Jessica.

Volund is a reference to the Dwarf King's hammer in the Eragon books. I was hoping someone would catch it

"Mwhaa..." Nenechan lazily began to stir, oh that's right. After all that then I ran into that...and that...and ugh...Well, I guess it's time to say thanks. Really sucks that- Nenechan opened her eyes, "Girl!" She said with excitement and immediately jumped towards Alisia to hug her, tears trailing down her cheek, There's still hope!

Alisia laughed merrily, as she returned Nene's hug, as she said, "I don't know what's goings on, but okay~"

"It was horrible! Everywhere I went just pure nightmare fuel! But, you're here now!" She buried her head in the girls breasts, tears still falling down from her. A slight flush on her cheeks. It's one thing to research it, but it's another to actually experience it~
Papa was much better at this though. I think he'd probably reach out and grab her right now. But I just can't seem to do it...This is nice though

Rune was relieved of the burden that was on his back, as he muttered, "Oh Thank God..." he got up to his knee, as he looked up at Tsunade, "My name? It's Rune" he said, as a thought came to him, and asked her "Wait, what did you say earlier?"

Rune tilted his head as he pondered, "Nene...chan?", but then he remembered, as he bopped his fist on his open palm, as he said, "Oh! You mean your sister" he said, and pondered again, "From what she said to Mr.Solus, it seems like she went to the Technician's Ward to get repairs," he turned, as he began walking, and said "Let's Go."

Rune led her to the technician's ward, going across the halls, doing his best not to interfere with the Technicians and their work, as he asked, "Do you see her anywhere?"

"I'm great now! Thanks Jessica!" She ran up to hug Jessica, "And she was being really mean to you, but she did help me out, so can you two not fight with each other please?" She stared up into Jessica's azure orbs, her own eyes very wide and pleading.

"All right. I'm glad to see you're 100% again. Are you allowed to leave already? If possible, I would like to drop by the Student Council room before the day ends." she said, patting Nenechan.
