Site's usually updated on Thursday (CEST time), there's a chance of magazine leaks IF the game is featured in Dengeki or Famitsu.

Last year we had exactly eight updates that came out on other days ofthe week. Two of those were trailers, a few were just blog updates, one was a system update, and the others were twitter packs.

So... while that is usually what happens, it's not a given.

There's always been pink Dogoos >_>
But the one thing that I noticed in that shot is the dungeon design, that looks like a huge callback to HDN.

Yeah, it does look like a throwback to the first one, so I imagine that we'll see a bit more dungeon variety, even if it is just recolors :P

So far we've seen four types:

-Forest Area
-Digital area (Like in Mk2)
-Mountainous area
-Cave like area

We only knew of the plains and graveyard around this time for Mk2.

I want to see a snow-covered landscape, and a Japanese temple style dungeon--like TriUni... but with a hella lot more effort put into it.

Blue cave
Green cave
Brown cave

All with bloom turned up to eleven.

You know I always say I HATE Tales of Xillia... but I have to admit they got the wintery mountain-scape design down to a science; too bad 99% of all areas were surrounded by-- mountains and looked like pallete swaps >_>

It had snow drifts, some caves you could enter by crawling through the snow drfits, and a frozen lake or two-- despite it being ridiculously large and completely unrealistic. xD

It was pretty much perfect in terms of what I'd like to see in Neptune... minus the RIDICULOUS size issues.

My favorite zone/dungeon type would have to be the wintery terrains as well, except in Skyrim, where almost everything was wintery terrain :P Japanese style temples like TriUni wouldn't be that bad either, though I'd have to say that my favorite dungeon from that was the School, since it seemed so out of place

That WAS pretty neat ~

I'd just like more traditional Japanese sorta places

And a REALLY scary area

I think JRPGs would do well with a scary area. Kinda like some of Finnel's Cosmosphere.

Yeah, I could see them doing something nice with a scary area, though I don't think that I've played anything with a scary theme, or level in a long time

And I'd count Finnel's cosmosphere as warped, not scary :P

Okay, I'll give you that one...it was kinda creepy when you think about it...

Heck, all we need is a dark area with some sort of commotion going on in the background for the start of a creepy area...it is creepy in RL, that's for sure :P

In before somebody complains about off-topicness.

That said, I wonder: what themes could fit Neptunia? Considering it doesn't attempt to be serious at all, so they could go completely wacky if they wanted (like e.g. those color blocks areas in mk2). What about a carnival-like area? Though good luck getting Neptune out of there once she steps in =P
