Yeah it's pretty much a given we're never seeing this localized. Otome games in general just aren't big enough in the West(I doubt they will be for a long while)for smaller titles like this to make it over. Hakuoki was lucky.

I get the feeling Elie's design was changed purposely to fit in a bit more? It looks a fair bit different to her original design anyway you're right.

Nope it's not set in Salburg. I don't think I've even heard it mentioned so far so yeah it looks like they've just been thrown in here for the heck of it.

If anyone's interested in screenshots I'll post some in a sec. I couldn't take screens of the town map or synthesis screens though, so it'll just be cgs, pretty boys and nice bgs.

Ok, screenshots. I translated them since it felt a bit weird to leave them as they were(even though some of the lines look weird out of context, sorry about that. I was taking caps really randomly).

Any game based towards females doesn't ever seem to sell well in America. x.x

I wish this game would come out in the US. More like I NEED this game to come out in the US. Hopefuly with Hakuoki out maybe there will be good feedback?

I doubt nisa will localize this, but it does have chance at localization in general. i always facepalm at otome games, because i don't like male harems. (....>.> <.<... i'm girl crazy O.O ... YES! I am a girl. >.< ) despite my dislike for the game i will support its localization, because the ball for visual novels gotta get rolling more somewhere. >_>

by now, yes the series should. mass novels and visual novels it has, plus an anime based off of the 3rd game.

yes, the long running pure-yuri series. even though the anime was adult it seemed too beautiful and gentle to be deemed as "porn." plus, it always leaves me with a warm and gentle feeling after watching it, since i always find it so touching and sweet. ;-;

Yes I just shorten it to Hanabira. xD The "anime" is just an ova. Al though it would be nice if it DID get it's own actual show.

But back to the point, is this game a V/N?

Yes it is. Someone mentioned that the "alchemy" parts are more or less automatic, you can't fail. So yeah, there isn't even alchemy to mess with, so it might as well be a pure VN.
