Hey guys, I decided to bring the news over to NISA forums about my current video game project, Do You Remember. If you have any questions, suggestions, or constructive criticisms, feel free to post it! Also, let me know if I'm in the wrong place in the forums!

I'm using RPG maker VX but I'm trying to get some funding in order to raise the game's quality including its engine.

First I heard of this.

I do want to say that I'm glad to finally see an RPG Maker VX game that doesn't use the VX-style sprites.

Skies of Arcadia on Dreamcast. Iv'e been looking for a proper emulation of this for a long time and i can't run it smooth even with a Core i72600k @ 5.0ghz and 2x GTX 580's

an interesting concept... I'd back this up if i could actually pay online, but im too young to own a credit or debit card...

You can go to walmart or some place like that and get a pre-paid VISA card and use that to purchase things online, such as game subscriptions or buy merchandise online, when i was younger i didn't have this option but i see it working out now days.

EDIT: You can find them in the checkout lanes where they have the gift cards and stuff.

ITT, people who can't read. I'd be interested in this cause, but I'm not all that keen on PC gaming...

And Aoto? I do believe that videogame emulation discussion is hardly the topic to discuss on a forum dedicated to a company that localized videogames.
And before you throw the "it's old and I cannot obtain it legally anymore" card, there's a gamecube port that's very available online. ;P

Why the decision to use VX?
I think C/++ and a different engine may have been a better direction to take it with as I know how restrictive RPG Maker can be (haven't used it since XP but I have tried a VX demo)
I've read on your kickstarter page that you plan on porting to a different language/engine once you reach a certain point so maybe there isn't a point in asking, as I may already know the answer.
Good luck with it and my old favorite would be Secret of evermore or secret of mana.
by any chance would you consider a later release onto a Nintendo console, via the eshop? (3ds)

Back when I started making this game, I had no knowledge about programming. I kinda want to port it at this point but creating a new engine or starting it from scratch using another program seems pretty time consuming. RPG maker VX isn't so bad if you fiddle around with variables and grab some custom scripts from here and there. I personally think it saves a lot of time.

As of this point, Kickstarter isn't doing so well so I don't know if it will even reach it's goal. Even if it did, I heard Nintendo is pretty strict in terms of the games so I'm not sure if this game can make it to the eshop.

Eff Nintendo, then. Go Steam and/or GamersGate, and maybe PSN and XBLA multiplat if possible.

EDIT: Although I've never seen an RPG Maker game on PSN...
