Quite the harsh review you wrote there Shizuka. I can agree with you in some points though.

Story - Yeah the tales games has seen better ones
Characters - Same here though everyone has his favourites, while on that topic am I the only one on this board that dislikes Pascal the most?

For the rest, I once again can agree to some points, I wouldn't go that far and say that I'm not recommending the game to anybody, as I enjoyed the game a lot, but hey that's your opinion.

My rating for the JP version was 90%.

Nah, It's just that when I buy a game I usually do more reaseach about it, ou can't really do that for animes unless you read the manga. Since that works most of the time I can usually eliminate the games I would rate lower than 80%.

And for the record my rating of Graces F was higher at one point (93%) but I hate to lower for various reasons of which some of them I stated above.

Lineage and Legacies was pretty bad, even I'll admit that...as for characters, I gave my opinion on all Team Destiny characters...seeing as the only ones I really like are a few ToD characters, and ToR characters

And about Pascal, I can get why people would dislike her, I agree that she isn't a great character, and even though it's my bias, I'd be unfair to say she's the best character and everybody else sucks.

@vampko - riight, I always forget, even when I tell people that as well...didn't the DC version add more to the characters in terms of personality though? And isn't that made after the split? or still before?

Hah, I've actually seen one game pull that off successfully, although to be fair it took a lot of setup and the circumstances made the weighting a bit different.

After the split I think. But, when you're just adding to something which was already finished, they're not likely to completely change all the characters.

Although, I haven't played any but the PSX original.

@Vampko - True, it's easier to expand onto characters that are already made...I think that from what I've seen translated, Rebirth is the only one from Team Destiny that I like 3 or more characters from
