Sik wrote:Silly question: does anybody know when Inafune actually got involved with mk2? Because I was thinking about that "Capcom-chan" character and I still don't get how they'd get Capcom involved with Neptunia, but then I remembered that Inafune's involvement with mk2 predates Comcept (as seen in early copyright notices), and was wondering if he actually got involved before leaving Capcom. If that's the case then that Capcom-chan character would make sense perfectly since she would have been made on the assumption Inafune wouldn't leave Capcom.
Does anybody remember the exact date when Inafune left Capcom? >_>

October 29, 2010.
Interestingly enough, the first concept art from Compile Hearts for Mk2 which was found on their servers, was created on that exact same date.
They were basically Calendar wallpapers, the first one was Neptune HDD is the cord bondage, it was for the month of October that year.
