Lollipop Chainsaw (PS3/360)

A place for everybody to talk about anything game-related.

It took me 45 tries, but I got the gondola trophy yesterday.

Right now I'm working on my second playthrough. The game is fun as hell and I still have a lot of stuff to unlock, so I'll be playing through it a few more times. Hell, after I get the platinum trophy I might do it all over again on one of my alt accounts if I don't get burned out

This game has confirmed what I've always believed, zombies do indeed suck dick at driving.

So ready to start this game today. I was already sold on killing zombies with a chainsaw and a ridiculous cheerleader with ridiculous Suda51 humor. The Masou Shoujo outfit only sweetens the deal.

Mysteltain Kick!!

....Thats not a kick!!!!

Playing the game as Haruna (Masou Shojou FTW)

How do you beat Dad's score (Got Prologue,1,5,6)
Do I need to sparkle hunt often?

I repeated stage 2 like 5 times and still can't beat his score

Got No fear of heights after 35 tries, the

I did the beat dad's score trophies along with the one for getting on the leaderboards for all stages, well cept for Stage 5 and 6 I ended up beating dad's score without even trying and well for 5 I crushed it, that stage is so easy to rack up the score on.

Any how sparkle hunting helps, but as I found out with stage 3 making sure to beat/get close to his zombie medal count factors in as well I had 45 sparkle hunts but only like five hundred something medals and my score was like 30k under his.

Stage 3 is the only stage I had problems with beating dad's score, theres a spot in stage 4 where you can kill an infinite amount of zombies I found that using the two combos that involve square and x usually racks up the sparkle hunting more often then not.

Juliet looks super cute in the Haruna costume<3

But yeah, for beating dad's score just focus on getting a lot of coins, getting lots of sparkle hunts, killing everything and not dying. Stage 2 (the stadium) was the toughest for me. Try to get as many sparkle hunts as you can, especially during zombie baseball. How quickly you finish the stage doesn't really matter, the points you get for a quick finish don't make up for the points you miss from not killing and collecting everything.

Ok, this game is terrible. And that is coming from someone who beat Onechanbara, TWICE. I don't know, I just thought nothing was cute about this game or fun for that matter. I advise all to stay away.

That struck me as kind of odd, too.

I mean, I guess there's a couple of cute moments, but this game was not intended to be cute.

And personally, I thought the game was fucking excellent. I've played through it about 8 times now and I'm still playing it. I love just about everything about it. I could understand his disappointment if he went into this game totally blind and was expecting something completely different, but there's been a ton of media and exposure for this game, so I would think he would know better.

After seeing the up skirt shot of Jessica Nigri as Juliet, sold me on the game. :D

Seeing the words "Suda51" or "Grasshopper Manufacture" are enough to sell me on any game.

But the upskirts were nice, too

Normally that was all I needed... Until Sine Mora happened.

Eh, his games are generally acquired tastes to begin with.

Yeah it was. The main character Julie is a cheerleader and she makes a bunch of dumb ditzy comments that tries to appeal to shallow people as cute. Glad I didn't fall for it. I know everyone here is mostly pro Japan and will bow to anything that comes out of Japan, but this game sucks. American game I doubt it even gets a topic here.

They're making fun of the ditzy cheerleader actually. This is NOT a 'moe appeal to otaku'.
