lol i just got the ruling in first because my friend kept bugging me about it
i had no idea that

They were all going to die

Ended up liking that ending more than the canon true ending actually :? That's probably only because i got it first though.

Just because it was "well written"? I'm sorry but I don't like seeing my ladies being butchered :< Good endings can be emotional too..I just don't think every game needs to have a miserable ending just because the majority has a fetish for it.

MK2's good end was only emotional to me AFTER getting the bad end.
If i got it before the bad end it probably would've just been another "yay saved the day" type ending to me.

Lol you sound like you're so against the bad end but you suggest killing of Neptune mid game

xD I'm really just joking around. I'm not serious~

I don't see how 'good ends' are written bad. It just amounts to what you find more enjoyable. You can't really judge someone's writing without a bias.

For some reason I think that Nepgear dying would bring a stronger reaction. (also would make vampko fly to Japan and destroy Compile Heart's headquarters)

Yeah Good endings tend to leave me with wanting more to the story like "What happends after?"

Killing off characters is an overly used plot device I've seen in too many JRPGs..I got tired of it. :< I don't want to feel miserable the rest of the game.

I have an easy ticket to Tokyo, so that wouldn't be all that hard. Course, after the fact I'll be in ginormous debt and running from the law

Also, I will never get people who want non-villain characters to die. It's never been a point that I enjoyed. But, whatev.

Same here, a lot (not all) good ends seemed sort of incomplete in a way.
I'm in no way saying you have to kill of everyone for a game to be complete though.
Basically, whatever ending get's me more emotional (rather sad, happy or whatever ) is the better ending to me, so it really differs between games.

I don't think anyone was saying good ends were written badly (though they certainly can be...), I however, was just saying that they typically aren't nearly as emotional as bad ends.

All in all, I think bittersweet endings are the absolute bestest~

I find it laughable when people argue that. Since when you overlay the character renders; I refuse to call them sprites, from the first game over-top each other, they all have the same facial structure. There are hardly any differences.

V however... there is a noticeable difference, not much, and not enough to argue that Nep has a chubby face. I think she's just self conscious of her weight; although it's never really shown, and everyone uses that insult as a way to try and get her to eat healthier.

I find this somewhat humorous... This post's, 'Never Really Shown', immediately following this post...

I hope CH puts in at least one bad ending in Neptune V =o . I really don't understand why people get upset when one bad ending is put into something that has multiple good endings . In most cases the bad ending isn't canon so it's not like you have to accept that the events actually happened .

It's when everyone praises it as the best is what bugs me.
