My Rise Kujikawa figure seems to be extraordinarily delayed for some reason. HLJ still hasn't shipped it. It was supposed to have been re-released in Feb 2012. Ami Ami also had delays but they shipped it out in March. HLJ also removed the figure from its listing but they still say they're working on the order. Meanwhile, Otacute says they have it on "BackOrder". You think I should switch to otacute?

I'm not a serious collector as I just started to shop around for them just last year. I got both sets of the persona blind boxes and two hack/sign figures. I'm trying to get the Fate/Extra Caster figure but I don't know what I should pay since it will be the first one of that size I'll have bought.

I preordered a Strike Witches Eila figure.

Is there a place where they have free shipping or close to it. Shipping is the one thing stopping me from having a ton of figures. Since it like $20 for shipping.

If you can find an eBay store that's based in the US, you can avoid shipping charges, but generally they won't have the new figures coming out. I'm slowly getting into figures as well, so I've just been picking up cheap ones when I find them on eBay. Since they're usually being shipped from Japan, it's just hard to find places that don't charge shipping.

This is one I'm currently looking at getting. Never played 7th Dragon, but I just really like the style :3

If you get an option when ordering from Japan, choose SAL instead of EMS. EMS is expensive and it sounds like that's what you paid for. Either that or some other kind of courier like UPS or Fed-Ex. They're all expensive. SAL is standard air-mail, so it'll be slower. Expect 1.5-2 weeks or so.

Play-Asia has really cheap shipping on most things. Unless it's something really heavy (like a fightstick or something) then it should only cost like $3-5 to ship. Again, it's something like 1.5-2 weeks.
