Third 'Badman' game coming to Europe as 'No Heroes Allowed'

The Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida series has undergone a number of name changes in localization. NIS America originally released the PSP's evil overlord hideout design game under the hilariously unwieldy title "Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do to Deserve This!?" Shortly before the release of the sequel, a trademark complaint forced NIS to change the series title to "What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!?"

Now, a trailer released during Gamescom has revealed Sony Europe's plans to localize the third game, called Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida 3D in Japan, under yet another completely different title, the much pithier "No Heroes Allowed." This third game adds the ability to flood your dungeon with water in order to destroy any invading heroes, and also allows for competitive or cooperative multiplayer. The US release has just been confirmed on the Playstation blog. No mention of NISA having any involvement in the translation though.

It's tagged as NIS, but not NISA... I guess NISA isn't the responsible for the localization.

NIS aren't the developers though. They probably mean NISA with that tag as it will link back to previous blog entries, which would include the other Badman games.

Acquire develops. NISA publishes and localizes for America.

That's what they did for the first two. I don't see why they wouldn't do the same for the third game. Most gaming blogs don't distinguish between NIS and NISA when they tag.

I'm excited...though I haven't beaten the 2 game yet.

The Badman series lives on in the States, but NIS America isn’t involved with the cheeky overlord anymore. Sony Computer Entertainment America is self-publishing the next game in the series on their own under the name No More Heroes Allowed. In Japan, SCE handled all of the Badman games.

So I guess that answers our question.

It's already out in America and no it did not get a UMD release by Sony America and it's under the title No Heroes Allowed. It's a PSN Store exclusive.
