Dangan-ronpa (PSP)

I was on Andriasang looking for some cool info on games in Japan. I came across a game called Dangan-ronpa & I think it would be a fun game to play. The game is a Detective High School murder game.

It looks like it could be a Phoenix Wright kind of game.

I was going to suggest this game but never got around to it. It looks quite good and the concept sounds pretty unique. I'd buy it.

There is a new trailer for Dangan-Ronpa out now. It really has nice cut-scenes & I looks to have the phoenix wright vibe. Which to me is great.

Now that i think about it, this seems like something Aksys would do. I'm reminded of 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors.

Watched the trailer, and it looks pretty good so far. I'd probably get it if it's localized. Still not sold on the whole 2.5D thing though; the characters look like goofy cardboard cut-outs within the 3D areas.

i found the demo on the jpn psn store, it is definitely different, seems to combine elements of phoenix wright with fps and stuff. and instead of having all the time you need to find the evidence it apparently is realtime so you have to hurry to find stuff. the school reminds me of the ones from persona 3 and 4.
