K-On! Houkago Live!! (PSP/PS3)

It's something of a long shot, but what the hell:



K-On! Houkago Live!!, a video game take on the somewhat well-known K-On! franchise, is due for release on the 30th of September 2010 for the PlayStation Portable.

Published by Sega (who have already released the likes of Project Diva for the PSP), this game seems set to put the girls of HTT in your pocket!

Not literally, but you get the idea...


Aside from a rhythm game involving musical performances (either in the light music club room, on stage, or elsewhere) there's a social side of the game involving chibi versions of each character; as seen in the alternate home page:



There are plenty of costume options on the cards; Sawa-chan herself seems to gives you the thumbs-up if you come up with a design she likes!


How well the game will work is still to be seen; even so, for those looking to continue the HTT fun after season 2 comes to a close, it might be an interesting option.

I mean, after being hired by the Kyoto government to help promote the census, surely HTT's eyes will look elsewhere; especially if Bandai ever get 'On!' with releasing the series in Region 1...

I love K-ON! too! What would be really cool is if there was a K-ON! Rock Band game! For the PS3!

Even though I already pre-ordered the Japanese version, I would still love for it to be localized in English.

While I've only watched a bit of K-On!, I think I'll get this. It looks a lot like Project Diva (naturally since they made that game too), so I would think the gameplay would be somewhat similar. With NIS America delving into the anime market, I wonder if they can get some of these anime games over.

That would be nice, but Bandai owns the right to K-ON! the anime, so I don't know how NISA would go about acquiring this game. But hey, I'd like to see NISA release Project Diva. Ive been playing the demo over and over, the game is addicting!

Project Diva is AMAZING, and the second one is even better
I loved K-On! so much! It's at the level of Azumanga Daioh, but more moe

Yeah Project Diva is awesome but then again I do like Hatsune Miku, and right now i'm doing that Dreamy Theater DLC that allows you to play it on the PS3.
