Success = more games?

So if this game sells well, do you think NISA will be more inclined to localize the older games or go after ports like the SW 1&2 for PSP?

My bet would be the first game's remake, Atsuki Chishio Ni, then the PSP ports. They'll probably want to bring the most modern games out, then work their way from there. They still have quite a lot of options, that is if they haven't abandoned the PS2 yet(though I'm going to say this will be the last PS2 game they publish, so I'm not certain).

I'm not expecting another but would be pleased if it happened.

I'm not expecting much more in the future either. SWV is creating a minor buzz at best in the gaming community and although I'm sure it will sell at least to NISA's expectations, I don't expect an overwhelming amount of sales, warranting future releases. Maybe after the game is released, the game might pick up in sales on word-of-mouth advertising and others might give it a try, helping the series gain popularity in The States.

You never know, but as I've said before, "Never underestimate the RPG fan community and their passion for their games."

So SW isn't a big deal in the West?

Only for the people who've never heard of it. For the rest of us, it's huge.

You're asking because of our responses? It is a big deal to me, and it seems like there's a bandwagon that has started picking up steam. However, as fun as it is to dream about what NISA could do as a follow-up (heck, I made a poll on the old board, too), realistically, we wouldn't get through {1+3+4} or {1&2} until 2014-16 at this pace... by then, PS2 would have no shelf space, and who knows how well Wii or PSP would be doing. I'm looking at SW:SLML as a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Edit: Oh, alright, let's be clear about which one should come next:
