Started my Kanata playthrough and...

is it just me, or do the voices drop off a lot more than on Riz's path? I've seen the voices drop on and off in the same scene without even hitting a loading screen. I don't remember ever seeing something like that in Riz's story.

I don't know if i noticed anything like in Kanata's story, but there was significantly less voice work in Kanata's story. It's like all the voice work in the game was for Riz's story.

Yeah, I noticed that. I guess NISA couldn't dub the whole game or something? I assume it's for money reasons.

Games with a lot of text usually don't get full voice acting. Even bigger companies with much higher budgets don't fully voice their games in English.

I noticed that with the Tale's series games... when stupid namco bring those games over...

It annoys me, since I love the tales series as much as I love disgaea, but they rarely bring the games over anymore

Along with Tales, Final Fantasy, Star Ocean...

Though I will say Final Fantasy XIII had full voice acting, and that game had hours of cut scenes, but it also didn't have a Japanese track...so close...

If it wasn't for Etna and the Prinnies, I wouldn't care. I would have loved it if Riz got Etna and the Prinnies instead of Flonne...

Tsubaki WAS great ^-^ I just found Kanata hisself to be annoying...
Makes it really hard to get through his playthrough. I won't be grinding much on this one probably, because I will just want it to be over with. Then I can get the true ending on my next Riz playthrough, and get all kinds of other stuffz done ^-^

Plus, I'm trying to get mana for the managraphs that are on kanata's side only, since the IM's wan't transfer in new game plus... but once I get the last few mana's, I'm just gonna do story missions to beat this story.

As long as you make the managraph, it'll transfer over just fine. Just make sure to de-equip any managraphs before you fight the final battle.

This was partially an organization error. Since scenes overlapped, sometimes we voiced a scene for Riz but the overlapping scenes in Kanata's story had lines before or after... and we didn't quite catch that in time, so... yeah. Apologies for those.

As long as you make the managraph, it'll transfer over just fine. Just make sure to de-equip any managraphs before you fight the final battle.

Makes sense. So if they are equipped, do you lose them? Do you lose armor, abilities, and weapons as well? What about DLC items that are equipped?
