I predict this will be a very good game unless Bioware decides to scrap any premise of its being an RPG and gives it a title like Mass Effect 3: Killzone of Duty and Honor: Reach.

Are you planning on getting the other two first? As someone who has played ME 1+2, it's an infinitely better experience if you know what's happened before. You really get attached to the world and its characters, not to mention your own Shepard.

Music is only one small aspect of the greater whole. I'm surprised only the potential for superior music was enough to alter your buying decision. You could always skip the game and buy the soundtrack...

That said, Mass Effect 2 was truly awesome, even with its flaws. I had my reservations going in, but it won me over. Mass Effect 3 is an automatic buy. Too bad I lost my Mass Effect 2 clear save and will have to replay half the game again... *sigh*

Ouch. >.< That sucks. I'm glad you liked the game though. I've been hearing the same kind of thing from a lot of people who bought ME2 for their PS3s. They hadn't expected to like it as much as they did.
