Here there be dragons! The Elder Scrolls games are universally fun, if flawed experiences. I look forward to discovering gamebreaking glitches in the newest entry as much as I liked stacking paintbrushes to heaven in Oblivion.

OMFG DO WANT! The one series that I have a soft spot for (well aside from pokemon) is back!

Hopefully this means that my characters will no longer look like they were beaten over the head with the ugly stick, or that the NPCs won't try to water their carpets anymore.

Elder scrolls is a fun series, though they've gotta work on balancing issues. Mages are way too overpowered. Half-way through Oblivion I was practically invincible as a mage (especially with all the support magic) and I was nuking everyone and everything with 1-2 spells....

I was invincible as a melee/magic hybrid because I used the infinite money cheat to buy all the best weapons/armor/spells.

That too. The spellcrafting/enchanting is what really breaks the game. It's ridiculously easy to just make an incredibly powerful "effect on touch" elemental spell. It doesn't usually cost much mana, and if you hoard your potions the rest of the game plays out like fantasy-themed tag.

I loved that though. My friends and I would make all these messed up game breaking weapons and spells. It was fun being creative with it

Don't get me wrong, I loved it too, the spellmaking was really fun. The custom spells making things easier is a bonus.

I remember I was in the combat arena fighting a mage with all my super armor/weapons equipped. The mage did one "heavy spell" (where the carrying weight load shrinks) and he just stood back blasting me with fire spells while I couldn't move or died if I removed all my armor/weapons....

Whoa that's one smart Gamebryo NPC. I won all my arena battles by standing on the top of one of those head-high pylon things and blasting my opponent while they were trying to figure out how I'd disappeared.
