Hello everyone,
We would like to thank those of you who participated in our Disgaea ® Haiku Contest! We received a tremendous number of entries since we first announced the contest. Some entries were so funny that we hurt our sensitive tummies from laughing, and some were so touching that we shed tears... Honestly, they were all incredibly good!
We've selected 8 Haiku winners, and we will post 1 winner every Friday, starting from October 27th, on the NIS America website. So, don't forget to check it out. Your haiku might just be good enough to grace the NIS America website!
We would like to share a couple of haikus that we thought were really fun...
| No I could not live without my disgaea game it rocks my socks off -Samuel Diotte |
One hundred levels Item God eats my magic Quick! Gency's Exit! -James Eddy |
Once again, thank you so much for your particiaption in our haiku contest! We absolutely enjoyed reading everything you sent!
Wondering what we've been up to since the release of Spectral Souls™? Well wonder no more! We've been working on our new RPG, Ar tonelico: Melody of Elemia for the PlayStation® 2. Ar tonelico will be released in February 2007.
We would like to tell you a little bit about Ar tonelico. Ar tonelico has a distinctive fighting system, in which one of two main female characters sings songs to support the rest of the group, from healing teammates to blasting enemies. Ar tonelico has become very popular in Japan for its distinctive gameplay as well as its attractive character designs. Here is a sneak peak of Ar tonelico.

The Ar tonelico characters are so cute in both personality and appearance that many Japanese gamers got attached to them, and just sort of fell in love! This kind of feelings toward fictional characters is called "Moe" (pronounced like "mo-ay") in Japanese. We hope you will explore your "moe" feelings with Ar tonelico! We will keep you updated with what's happening over at NIS America again soon, so please stay connected!
Please don't forget to check out the contest winners' haikus at the NIS America website, starting October 27th!!
Thank you!
