R-Type for Flying Aces
R-Type Final 3 Evolved, the ultimate side-scrolling shooter, is now available on PlayStation®5!
In addition to the stages included in R-Type Final 2, new stages have been made exclusively for this title, bringing over 20 stages of gameplay.
For the first time in R-Type's history, there are plans to add VR to the aircraft launch sequence, allowing fans to enjoy an immersive piloting experience!
And there are plans to support an online interactive space known as R Park, where players can share their strategies and enjoy a minigame to gain R points. It will also serve as a lobby where players can meet up to compete for scores in Competition mode.
Note to the owners of the R-Type Final 2 on PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC regarding future updates
Major updates to R-Type Final 2 (AKA the R-Type Final 3 Update), which include multiplayer support for Competition mode, more stages, and new aircrafts, will continue to be made in the future. There are plans to incorporate new features in addition to all of the updates mentioned above. Please return for more information in the future!

The DLC includes resources needed to develop aircraft such as Solonium, Etherium, and Bydogen, R points that can be used to purchase items and pilot suits in the in-game store, and "Arms Warranty Tickets" and "Wave Acceleration Tickets" to reduce the difficulty of the gameplay.
