女性のみが住まう氷の山村『パドル』出身。 精霊の祝福を受けた村は、氷山にも関わらず、春の陽気に包まれており、彼女たちは風読みの能力を持っている。 弓の扱いにたけ、それ以外の武器を極端に嫌う。 これは彼女たちが弓は至高の武器という思想を持っているため。 なお、弓を射るのに邪魔な胸は、一族の歴史の中で徐々に淘汰された言ったという。
